DansMaRue - Paris 2.8.0

To enhance the quality of public spaces and better address the expectations of Parisians in a participatory approach, the City of Paris has developed the DansMaRue application. This tool allows residents to report any anomalies observed on public roads and in swimming pools.

If you encounter an issue in a Parisian street or green space—such as damaged street furniture, graffiti, potholes, uneven sidewalks, litter, insufficient ground markings for the visually impaired, faulty lighting, illegal parking, unhealthy trees, or deteriorated cycling facilities—the DansMaRue application enables you to swiftly geolocate and describe the anomaly. You can also attach a photo to inform municipal services and their contractors in real-time about issues that may otherwise escape their notice.

The DansMaRue application fosters a closer relationship between users and the City of Paris. It offers the possibility to connect to Mon Paris (your personal Paris account on Paris.fr) for personalized tracking. All reported anomalies will be cataloged in your account, allowing you to stay updated and monitor the progress of your reports.

It is important to note that the DansMaRue application operates solely within Paris and requires certain functionalities of your smartphone (GPS and 3G/4G connection), necessitating a stable internet connection.

To optimize anomaly reporting, users should:

• select the nature of the anomaly from a predefined list,
• provide the exact address by adjusting any automatically suggested geolocation, specifying a street number when possible,
• attach one or more photos of the anomaly,
• add supplementary description (maximum 155 characters).

The DansMaRue initiative aims to facilitate communication among Parisians, the City of Paris, and its partners and service providers. Information submitted by users through this platform serves as working documents that will assist the City and its partners in organizing their efforts. Actions will be determined on a case-by-case basis based on these reports.

The City of Paris and its partners commit to taking appropriate measures within one month and informing any contributor who has provided their contact details.

In line with confidentiality and personal data protection principles, any photos submitted that contain identifiable individuals will be deleted. Users are therefore encouraged to focus their photos solely on observed anomalies while providing useful details in the description area. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may hinder or prevent the processing of a report.

Descriptions containing information that could harm physical or legal entities will be removed. Photos featuring identifiable individuals will also be deleted. If a report is lacking sufficient detail following such removal, it may not be addressed. Users should thus ensure their photographs concentrate on the reported anomaly without including individuals.
